Versa-Drill Steps Up For Bohs Well Drilling
Indianapolis, Indiana,-based Laibe Corporation, the manufacturer of Versa-Drill-branded rigs and equipment designed for water well, geothermal, and oil and gas extraction and exploration applications, recently posted a testimonial from Bohs Well Drilling. The small company just replaced its aging rig with a new Versa-Drill V-125X Water Well & Geothermal Drilling Rig, and the crew couldn’t be happier.
Teaching An Old Company New Tricks
When Chris Maurer acquired Bohs Well Drilling in 2017, his experience with drilling rigs was limited to Schramm and Simco. According to Maurer, “But when we bought this company, they had a Versa-Drill, and those guys loved it.” After taking his team’s advice on what sort of rig to buy to replace the old one, Maurer purchased a new Versa Drill V-125X. After getting hands-on, he was impressed with its speed, power, expanded pipe capacity, and longer tool rod. “The truck is just remarkable, and the guys really like it . . . . As far as it’s capability . . . I almost want to say the sky’s the limit for what we do. It’s a good unit.”
Another facet of the experience that Maurer is fond of is the after-sales support provided by the Versa-Drill representatives. “Every time we’ve called for service or anything, the team has just been outstanding,” Maurer said.
Keeping Up With Demand
One of the most important reasons for investing in the new Versa-Drill V-125X is that Bohs Well Drilling has recently been facing a dramatic increase in workload. Maurer knows that keeping up with demand and ensuring that new and existing customers alike are happy with their service are the only ways to maintain the company’s impressive growth. Maurer says he started out with the right group of people to make that happen, and with the Versa-Drill V-125X, the company now has the right equipment, too.
