Caterpillar TH55 E70 & E90 Transmissions Now Available From Cat Reman

Cat Reman, Caterpillar’s remanufacturing program that offers replacement parts from genuine Cat components, announced that customers can now purchase Cat TH55 transmissions. On average, Cat Reman parts are said to cost 40% less than new parts, while providing customers with the same quality and standard Cat parts warranty. Notably, the Cat TH55 transmission are popular for pressure pumping equipment in the oilfield.

TH55 E70 & E90 Reman

Compatible for use with Cat 3512 engines, both the TH55 E70 and E90 are rated at 3,300 horsepower (2,460 kilowatts). The Cat Reman TH55 E70 offers seven forward gears with zero reverse gears and a deep first gear ratio (6:25:1). For customers with the need for additional gear choices, the TH55 E90 has nine forward gears. Cat Reman says that customers also have the flexibility to exchange a TH55 E70 transmission core for a TH55 E90 transmission.
