Wenzel Industries is making its full-scale mud motor DuraTester (dynamometer, aka “dyno”) test system available for acquisition from its Edmonton facility.Rather than beginning with the engineering and integration of a completely new motor test facility, a qualified buyer can acquire an existing system incorporating high-pressure fluid supply, motor loading and support equipment, measurement capabilities and computer controls.The test system was developed to assess drilling motor performance before equipment is released downhole. Torque, RPM, pressure and flow can be captured simultaneously, allowing motor performance to be evaluated under controlled can support QA/QC, motor rebuild validation, prototype testing and engineering development.With only ~5,500 hours runtime, the included 700HP CAT C18 engine is in excellent operational condition, as are all components of the DuraTester including:- ZF AS Tronic transmission- KAMAT 55140 triplex pump- NOV Log Master II computer system- HMI touchscreen- 60,000 lb-ft water-cooled brake system- Cooling system- High-accuracy load cell for torque measurement- Heated custom-built twin sea can engine bay- Hydraulic centering tool clamp- Hydraulic tool supports
